This little guy is pretty much doomed. There is no hope for him. This will be the end for him.
I bet he is feeling excruciating pain. His legs must have been crushed by now. Even if he somehow finds a way to escape, he will be physically not able to do it.
It must be awful to be in such a trap, seeing your life go away.
